If you've forgotten your password, Breeders Aid can email you a code to set a new one. The email comes from hello@breedersaid.com and contains both a code and a button. Your account and all your records stay exactly as they were.

Steps

  1. On the sign-in screen, type your email address in Email. Use the address your invitation was sent to.
  2. Tap Forgot password?.
  3. A Check your email panel opens. Open the email from hello@breedersaid.com.
  4. Type the code from the email (usually 8 digits) into the box and tap Continue. The code works from any device and any mail app. (If you're reading the email on the same iPhone, you can tap the button in the email instead.)
  5. On Choose a new password, type your New password and type it again in Confirm new password. It needs At least 8 characters, and both must match.
  6. Tap Save new password.
  7. You'll see Password updated. Tap Continue to Breeders Aid. You're signed in, and next time you use your new password.

Tips

  • Prefer not to use a password today? Tap Email me a sign-in link instead. See Sign in to Breeders Aid.
  • Each email works once. Use either the code or the button in the email, not both.

Troubleshooting

  • No email after a few minutes. Check your Junk or Spam folder. Make sure the email address is the one your invitation was sent to: the email only goes to an address that has a Breeders Aid account.
  • It says to enter my email address. Type your email in Email on the sign-in screen before tapping Forgot password?.
  • The code says it has expired. Codes only last a short time and work once. Go back, tap Forgot password? again and use the newest email.
  • It says "Enter the code from the email (numbers only)". Type just the digits, with no spaces or letters.
  • I opened the reset by mistake. On Choose a new password, tap Cancel. Your old password still works.
  • "The two passwords don't match." Retype the password in Confirm new password. Tap the eye to show what you've typed.
