Your records stay yours.

Breeders Aid is a record-keeping app for dog breeders. This page explains what it stores, why, and the choices you have.

Last updated 11 October 2026. Breeders Aid was previously called PupLog; nothing about how your information is handled changed with the name.

What Breeders Aid stores

How it's used

Only to run Breeders Aid for you — showing your records, working out dates and reminders, and keeping your devices in step. Breeders Aid has no advertising, does not track you across other apps or websites, and does not sell or share your information.

Where it's kept

Records are stored in a secure cloud database provided by Supabase, protected by your sign-in and by database access rules. Information travels over encrypted connections.

Camera, photos and microphone

Breeders Aid asks for these only when you use a feature that needs them — for example adding a photo of a puppy or dictating a note — and uses them only for that.

Documents you create

Invoices, reports and other documents you create show your business as the breeder or seller, with a small "Generated using Breeders Aid" note. Breeders Aid is not a party to your sales.

Buyer information

If you record details about the families buying your puppies, you're responsible for having their permission and for keeping them accurate. Breeders Aid's privacy mode hides buyer names and contact details on screen when you're showing the app to others.
